"Now listening to it the 4th time! Luv the rawness!Wot punk is missing nowadays! Pogo'd a few times had to stop coz i broke my coffee table and pulled my bendy Bullys arm off"

"The actual sound of the record is fantastic, the guitars sound raw and messy (helped by the open fifth’s, punk-ass sound of the guitars), the drums and bass follow suite and the vocals are punk as fuck. The lyrics may not be on a punk-god level, but they certainly aren’t lacking motivation or emotion. On their facebook page it says “Blurring the lines between punk, metal and rock, attitude is more important to us than talent. Punk’n’roll for the masses!” regardless of what I say about this band, if this is their true feelings… then it seems like they have already won.

"The EP overall sounds really good, especially for a Punk band, lots of heaviness on offer but everything is nice and audible, with a good sound all in all!
What is quite cool about The Tickturds is their approach to punk rock. Whereas often a lot of punk bands seem content with simple riffs and nothing else, these guys happily let lead guitarist Clive Hunter delve into lead guitar and solos and pull it off too!
If you like good punk rock that verges on being heavy, definitely give these guys a look in, you can download their EP super cheap and get Physical Copies too!"
